Sukimuland Suspension Bridge – Chill view!

This prominent suspension bridge offers some chills during Miyazaki’s hot summers. With its height of 30m above ground and its pillars of 30m height, it is not for the faint-hearted, but definitely a sight to behold!

The eight steel cables that hold up the bridge are incredibly thin so as not to obstruct the beautiful view at Mamako Waterfall. It’s hard to believe that those cables were able to actually hold up a bridge this big since 1988.

The bridge is surrounded by Suki’s vast nature. Across the bridge is a tiny park where you can listen to local birds chirping away. The walk across is 155m long, with a tiny platform in the middle that invites you to take in the impressive sight.

The walk across the bridge is only 200¥ for adults and 100¥ for kids.
