Unagi Ichiriki

You don’t need many words to describe Unagi Ichiriki’s food: absolutely delicious.

You already guessed it but this restaurant’s specialty is eel, called “unagi” in Japanese. This type of eel is very different from what we can taste in European countries. So, unless you have travelled a lot in Asia, it is unlikely that you have tried delicious eel before. The surprise of tasting something new, added to this culinary delight: heaven !

Unagi is a very expensive meal in Japan, because eel is becoming rarer. At Ichiriki’s, you can taste unagi starting at 1,500¥. The menu is divided intothree sizes: small/medium/big. It is also possible to choose how unagi is served, either on top of your bowl of rice (so the rice will benefit from the juicy eel sauce), or served on a different plate.

Whatever you choose, this will be a little taste of paradise!
